SUMMIT One Vanderbilt

For our first night in New York I took my mother and brother to the SUMMIT observation deck at One Vanderbilt. Over 90 stories above the city and covered floor to ceiling in mirrored glass it was absolutely astonishing!

Looking towards the south of Manhattan.

The mirrored interior.

Looking up towards the ceiling.

The Chrysler Building.

The skyline towards Bryant Park with the ice skating rink.

Looking down at the mirrored floor.

The mirrored sculpture on the floor that resembled pools of liquid.

The scale model of One Vanderbilt.

Another room featured reflective balls filled with helium. The ever shifting lighting and playful environment created a magical allure.

A selfie while looking up at the ceiling.

Going up to the upper level and looking down through a mirrored tunnel at the guests below.

Another selfie looking up at the ceiling with mom and Jon.

Screens that made it appear as though you were floating through the clouds.

The lounge with a floating fireplace.
