McKinney Falls State Park and Downtown Austin

On my last day in Austin we got to go to McKinney Falls.

Sterling in the back seat playing drums like his dad.

After a short hike we came to a rocky area with a small waterfall.

We made our way to the base for a picnic and some swimming.

After the park we went back to my hotel for some swimming.

Later that evening Jordan took me to see downtown Austin. This was the bridge that spans the Colorado River.

Beers and burgers at the famous Magnolia Cafe.

After dinner we decided to walk around and get some ice cream.

Jordan’s favorite view of the city.

The adorable neon sign for Home Slice Pizza.

Amy’s Ice Creams. I got the Mexican vanilla with crushed Oreos on Jordan’s recommendation and it was amazing!

On our way back to the car we stopped in The Continental Club for some great live music.

Round Rock

Taking another ride around the neighborhood.

Practicing drums with dad.

Snuggling after his nap.

Later in the afternoon Jordan took us to Brushy Creek to see the literal round rock after which the city is named.

Enjoying some amazing tacos at The Alcove Cantina.
