Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche and The Great Cross

One of my mother’s favorite places in St. Augustine is the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche. It is a beautifully picturesque place of worship with a large cross just a short walk away.

My parents and I went to St. Augustine to visit the old spanish fort Castillo de San Marcos.

I took this photo while I was in St. Augustine at the famous fort Castillo De San Marcos. Outside the fort I found myself standing on a weathered stone with a heart shape.

St. Augustine

My sister and I decided to go to St. Augustine for a mini vacation in the chilly month of March. It wasn't the typical Florida blue skies and sunshine, but we did enjoy ourselves.

We had booked a hotel on the beach in order to watch the sunrise, however, a thick fog had rolled in. We slept in a little hoping the mist would clear but it held on well into the afternoon. We took a walk on the beach somewhere around 10:00am and I turned around to capture this haunting shot of the residence behind us.
