London Back To Paris

Our brief peek into Harrod’s Department Store.

Walking thru Hyde Park.

The Gardeners Cottage.

On the Eurostar back to Paris.

The English countryside zooming by.

We had been too busy to stop for lunch and were hungry by the time we had gotten on the Eurostar. It was nice surprise that I had forgotten that our return trip came with a meal. We had seasoned chicken, potato salad, a roll, a chocolate cookie, and an almond cake.

At our second Airbnb in Paris, just in time for the full moon to be visible over the rooftops.

Across The Tower Bridge

A look back at The Tower of London and the glassy skyline.

I got a shot of this confident man enjoying his snack on the ledge.

The Tower of London

Founded in 1066 as part of the Norman conquest, The Tower of London has been iconic throughout the centuries. It has been a royal residence, prison, armory, treasury, and menagerie during its far reaching history. Prisoners were executed here as recently as World War II.

The area near the infamous gate where most prisoners were brought to The Tower.

One of the most unexpectedly beautiful things about London was the way the old and modern architecture coexist.

Sunday Morning in London

Our hotel was small so our continental breakfast was located at an adjacent hotel with massive fish tank along the wall.

The beautiful tree in front of our hotel.

The last view out of our hotel window.

The Shard.
