Two Days at Sea

The next two days of the cruise were spent at sea. We had a lovely time on the ship.

Walking up to a beautiful view.

A Brief Stop in Salem

On our way back the airport we decided to make a quick detour to see Salem, Massachusetts.

A brick house built by Captain Nathaniel Brown in 1851. Today, it is spilt into six apartments.

Covered Bridges, Wilson Pond, and The Full Moon Over Keene

After apple picking we made some fun stops on the way back to downtown Keene.

Jenny wanted to see some historic covered bridges and luckily we found two that were close to each other. This is Cresson Bridge, originally built in 1859.

Carlton Bridge, rebuilt in 1869. The original bridge was built in 1789.

We had a lovely dinner at Otto’s in downtown Keene. Jenny had the butternut bisque and fresh oysters.

I had some delicious fish and chips.
