A Morning Walk Around Keene

Our third day of the trip started with a morning walk around Keene.

The United Church of Christ in Central Square.

Keene Unitarian Universalist Church.

We found the Washington Cemetery and got to see several interesting grave markers. The photo above is for William Woods and Naomi Woods; a Revolutionary War Soldier and his wife who both passed away in the early 1800’s.

The grave marker for Stephen Harrington, who was born on November 22nd, 1775. Less than a year before the Declaration of Independence was published.

The grave marker for M. David Baker, who died on January 27th, 1789 at the age of twenty.

A lovely house in Keene.

A gorgeous ginkgo tree growing in someone’s front yard.

A vibrant fall leaf.
