The Gulf
On a visit home my sister and I went to watch the sunset. I captured this couple walking along the shoreline.

Riding into the Storm
Driving home from work one day I was heading into bad weather. The dark sky in front of me was made more ominous by the rapidly disappearing sun behind me.

Galaxy in Glitter

Shattered
In preparation for Hurricane Matthew I froze some extra water. I was lucky enough not to need it. At first I thought I would just let it melt into the sink but I decided to have a little more fun. I took it outside to smash it against the ground.
As I removed the ice from the tupperware I noticed the beautiful formations between the cloudy centers and clear edges.
A close up shot of trapped bubbles looking like a miniature explosion frozen in time.
Some of the lovely shattered fragments.
